Aerochrome Infrared Landscapes

These images were photographed with Kodak Aerochrome infrared film. It's a discontinued film that was used for aerial surveying. It responds like regular colour film except that the red dye layer is also sensitive to infrared frequencies. This is most abundantly reflected off foliage which results in these unique red/pink tones.
